Welcome to my first Math Monday! Each Monday, I will be sharing something having to do with…you guessed it: MATH!
Before Ski Week, we learned about time to the hour and half hour.
As a final activity, I printed, laminated, and placed various clocks around the classroom using this Clock Search Freebie. There is something about giving a child a clipboard that makes the learning that much more fun! The kiddos did a great job roaming the room and writing down the corresponding clock times on the worksheet.
We also made this Clock Man Freebie. I put my own twist on it and had a parent prep the clock head for me in advance by cutting out the circles and writing down the numbers to save on copies. Anywho, after they made their clock man, they completed the partner activity included in the pack.
Each partner would take turns making a time to the hour or half hour using the hands on the clock man. Their partner would have to read and write the time on the worksheet. The kiddos loved the clock man and couldn’t wait to bring him home! Another engaging time reading activity to wrap up the lessons of the week!
